Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Work will be focused on enhancing functionality for steel structural framing elements (Allplan Core objects) and steel connections (Python objects).
- Develop and improve software that meet the highest industry standards in an agile environment.
- Ensure that best practices and innovations are considered.
- Suggest, prototype, and implement appropriate solutions for the given requirements.
- Maintain legacy code, work closely with your colleagues, and keep them up to date by sharing knowledge across multiple teams.
- Identify gaps/requirements in our PythonPart API and assist with implementation if possible.

Personality requirements and skills
- Successfully completed studies (computer science or civil engineering/construction informatics) or a comparable education.
- Extensive experience in software development with C++.
- Experience with Python would be nice to have.
- Willingness to expand knowledge and work with additional programming languages (e.g. Python, C#, .NET, WPF)
- Independent, careful, and structured way of working together with a hands-on mindset.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Experience in Civil Engineering or Architecture would be nice to have.
