What will be your task at this position?

As a Junior Tester you will learn how to become strong QA test automation engineer. You will need to possess analytical, communication and time management skills and willingness to learn. You will become part of the team responsible for functional and non-functional testing of Solar Turbines’ applications. You will learn how to develop functional test cases and scripts to automate and optimize testing of applications like analytic tools for customers, contract management or turbine data computation and processing tools.

You will be responsible for:

· Reviewing of the requirement and design specifications

· Test Plan preparation for several functional and non-functional areas with clear scope, objectives, deliverables, and risks

· Development of functional and non-functional test cases (scripts) using various test automation frameworks with focus on one programming language

· Tracking and reporting of quantitative and qualitative testing metrics

· Ensuring testing is carried out in a timely, repeatable, and effective manner

· Defect logging and reporting

Considered a plus

· Manual or automation test scripting techniques

· Knowledge of any programming or scripting language (e.g. Python or Typescript)

· Experiences with defect logging or test management tools

· Understanding version control or continues integration concept

· Ability to query database (SQL)

· Understanding of web technologies

· ISTQB / ISEB foundation certificate
